Robin Pépinières: More than 60 years of innovation to guarantee the best quality and service

Max Robin created Robin Pépinière in 1948.
Bruno and Christine Robin, Max Robin's children, have been managing this family company for 30 years.
They endeavour to develop it with the values that have been a distinctive feature of the company since its creation
i.e. ensuring the best quality, based on the ability to innovate and the love of a work nicely done, with the satisfaction of all the customers as a goal.

Robin Pépinière thrives on developping its activities. The company had a tremendous evolution as well as a significant technical and commercial development throughout all these years.
The company's constant aim is to improve the quality of its products, to innovate and to be commited on a voluntary basis in favour of the protection of the environment.
The success of controlled mychorrhization, in collaboration with the INRA, is the perfect exemple.
Lots of company trophies, prizes, distinctions and certifications award all these efforts and the work accomplished throughout all these years. They are also proof of Robin Pépinière's competences and of its ability to ensure a "certified quality".

Today, Robin Pépinières holds a leading position in Europe in the field of controlled mychorrhization and especially in the production of Truffle plants, PLANT CHAMPIGNON® mushroom plants as well as HAUTE PERFORMANCE ® mycorrhized plants.

All this is embodies in the signature

1948: Creation of ROBIN Pépinières

Max ROBIN

Creation of Pépinières Robin by Max ROBIN in Saint-Laurent du Cros in the Alpestre Valley of Champsaur. The Nurseries are spread between 1000 and 1350 meters high. Given the geographical location of the operation and the local demand, Max Robin first specialized in the production of plants for reforestation sites

1955 : First production of plants in containers

First production of plants in containers
First production of plants in containers to solve recovery problems encountered with bare-rooted plants, during the realization of reforestation sites at altitude, often on shallow ground, and with plantation delayed planting dates in the mountain compared to those in the Valley.

Plants in containers should allow the plantation time to be extended in the mountain, improving the rate of recovery.

1960 : First trials with mycorrhization

Ginette ROBIN

That year, Bruno ROBIN, Max's oldest son joined the company, his two daughters Cécile and Christine joined slightly later in 1985 and 1989.
