Silver fir (Abies alba) is one of our main resinous forest species. It produces a white wood, very resistant. The young subjects support well the cover, like the deep grounds. They are well suited for reforestation in the subalpine and montane levels. Deep subsoil in stony soils. Ploughing in full in the lawns.
